Coorest launched its first play-to-earn game - My Coorest Tree’.
The game is a Tamagotchi-style virtual pet simulator, and revolves around taking care of a tree regularly. Coorest seeks to encourage people to join their green mission, which is why the game is free-to-play, it requires little effort, and will help players compensate for their carbon emissions.
In the game, players will receive fruit that is convertible to Coorest carbon tokens or $CCO2. The $CCO2 tokens can be sold on the Coorest platform or used for personal or business carbon compensation. The tokens are linked to carbon removed from real trees. Therefore, by playing My Coorest tree, you will actually have a significant positive impact on the environment. Roughly 70% of the game earnings will be used to plant new trees.
Coorest allows you to plant trees, remove carbon, provide shelter, habitat, food and water to many creatures around the world — all from the comfort of your own home. My Coorest Tree is a welcome addition to our mission — to create a world that doesn’t need constant environmental protection.
The game is available now on Android, and will be introduced to the AppStore (iOS) soon.
